、TE TEMPERATURES Application This procedure is used to determine the flow characteristics of various plastic materials while under load at moderate temperatures up to and including 149 C. Apparatus Required Test fixture as shown in Figure 1. Temperature controlled oven which can be stabilized at 149
、+/- 3 C. Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humidity for not less than 24 h prior to testing and tested under the same conditions unless otherwise specified. Procedure 1.
、 Test samples to be molded in accordance with the raw material suppliers recommendation. 2. Cut test pieces to approximately 13 x 13 mm by supplied thickness. Condition samples as required immediately before testing. 3. Use test fixture as shown in Figure 1. 4. Insert one stack of test pieces on eac
、h side of center bolt. Sample to be 13 mm thick. Pieces may be stacked to obtain this thickness. Calibrate the spring prior to testing to obtain height at 454 kg load. Compress calibrated spring to predetermined height for 454 kg by tightening the bolt to required height. 5. Measure distance “D“1 wi

Remove and allow to cool to 23 +/- 2 C. 7. Remeasure distance “D“2. 8. D 1 D 2 x 100 = % flow D1 9. Repeat (using new samples
