2、scribes two methods for determining the flow rate of heat-curing type sealers and heavy mastic adhesives. Apparatus Required Fixtures for Mounting Test Panels As shown in Figure 1 or 2. Template As shown in Figure 3. Mechanical Convection Oven Capable of maintaining a constant temperature of 60 +/-
3、2 C. Materials Required Test Panels Electrocoated CRLC steel (refer to FLTM BI 120-01), with dimensions as shown in Figure 1 or 2. Conditioning and Test Conditions All test values indicated herein are based on material conditioned in a controlled atmosphere of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5 % relative humi

Hand stir 1.0 liter sample vigorously with a 40 mm wide spatula for 1 minute and apply a bead of sealer 100 mm in length onto the degreased, electrocoated panel using the template. Mount panel with sealer in the test fixture as sh

Note: In the case of high viscosity materials a flattened bead may be formed when using this template. If this occurs the template s

Allow to stand for 10 minutes at 23 +/- 2 C, measure and record cold flow, and immediately place in the oven at 60 +/- 2 C for 10 minutes. Method B (Refer to Figure 2) 1. The closed container of adhesive or sealant shall be conditio

Hand stir 1.0 liter sample vigorously with a 40 mm wide spatula for 1 minute and immediately fill the upper section of the groove with sealer, flush with the adjoinin
