2、ynthetic lotion soap. 2. APPLICATION: This material is typically used for effectively cleaning the hands and skin of dirt and grime associated with plant operations. The material shall clean effectively in hard, soft, cold, or hot water. It shall leave the cleansed skin soft and pliable and shall fl
3、ow through Company approved dispensers without clogging or excessive flowing. 3. 4、5C) 4000 - 7000 cps 16-20 cps (ASTM D 1824) 3.5 RINSING PROPERTIES: The material shall be free rinsing when tested as follows: 3.5.1 TEST MATERIALS: Synthetic hard water shall be made in the following manner: 0.264 gram/liter Calcium Chloride (CaCl2.H2O) 0.295 gram/liter Magnesium Sulfate (MgSO4.7H2
5、O) Dissolve the hard water salts in a small portion of distilled water (or deionized water), transfer the solution quantitatively to a liter volumetric flask, and fill the flask to volume. 3.5.2 TEST PROCEDURE: Dissolve 2.0 ml. of the detergent in 98 ml of synthetic hard water at room temperature (2
6、5 +/- 2 C) in a clean 250 ml Erlenmeyer flask. Stopper the flask and shake vigorously for one minute. Pour out the solution. Rinse the flask by the same procedure, using three 75 ml portions of synthetic hard water alone. Invert the flask and allow to dry, and examine for any residue not rinsed from
7、 the interior. The flask shall not contain significantly more residue after being dried than a similar flask allowed to dry after rinsing with hard water alone. 8、 by supplier. 3.7 FORM AND CONSISTENCY: The material shall be smooth and creamy, and must be of sufficient consistency to prevent waste and accidental spillage from the hands when used. 3.8 STABILITY: The material shall not separate on storage. 3.9 EXCLUSIONS: The material shall not contain compound
9、s of any nature that are considered harmful to the skin. 3.10 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITY: All materials supplied to this Standard must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted, and shall be suitable for the intended application. Changes in composi
10、tion shall not be made without approval of the Plant Engineering Office, Engineering and Manufacturing Staff. 3.11 IDENTIFICATION: Materials supplied to this standard shall be identified with the “M“-number printed on the side as well as the top of the containers in letters at least 2“ (50 mm) high
11、in a contrasting color to that of the container. Container marking shall be in accordance with Manufacturing Standard ZF-10 and conform to all Federal, State and Local container contents labeling regulations which are in effect both in the area of shipment and use. 4. APPROVAL OF NEW SUPPLIERS: Mate
12、rials submitted by new manufacturers to this Standard must have Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Laboratory and Shop Trial approvals. Suppliers are required to complete and submit the Material Health and Safety Data Sheet, Form (129A), prior to Shop Trial. Recommendations for the addit
13、ion of new manufacturers to the approved Manufacturing Source List (ASL) listing must be made in writing to the responsible Staff Office by the appropriate divisional standards activity in accordance with Manufacturing Procedure 11d1. 5. ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL: Use of any material approved to this St
14、andard must comply with the guidelines as established in the environmental review of the material as they appear in the Materials and Toxicology (MATS) System. 6. HEALTH AND SAFETY: Use of any material approved to this standard must comply with the guidelines given under the Toxicological (TOX) review of the material as indicated in the MATS system.
