Separation, precipitation or flocculation of solids or gels shall not be permitted. 3.13 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITY: All materia

7、ls supplied to this Standard must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon which approval was originally granted and shall be suitable for the intended application. Changes in composition shall not be made without approval of Plant Engineering Office, Engineering and Manufacturing S

8、taff. 3.14 IDENTIFICATION: Materials supplied to this standard shall be identified with the “M“ number printed on the side as well as the top of the containers in letters at least 2 inches (50mm) high in a contrasting color to that of the container. Container marking shall be in accordance with Manu

9、facturing Standard ZF-10 and conform to all Federal, State and Local container contents labeling regulations which are in effect both in the area of shipment and use. 4. APPROVAL OF NEW SUPPLIERS: Materials submitted by new manufacturers for qualification to this standard must have Industrial Hygien

10、e, Environmental Engineering, Laboratory and Shop Trial approvals. Suppliers are required to complete and submit the Material Health and Safety Data Sheet and the Environmental Data Sheet (Form 1291A) prior to Shop Trial. Recommendations for the addition of new manufacturers to the Manufacturing App

11、roved Source List (ASL) must be made in writing to the responsible Manufacturing Staff office by the appropriate divisional standards activity in accordance with Manufacturing Procedure IId1. 5. ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL: Use of any material approved to this Standard must comply with the guidelines as e

12、stablished in the environmental review of the material, as they appear in the Materials and Toxicology (MATS) System. 6. HEALTH AND SAFETY: Use of any material approved to this standard must comply with the guidelines given under the Toxicological (TOX) review of the material as indicated in the MATS system.
