5、ithout approval of Manufacturing Engineering and Systems Office, Engineering and Manufacturing Staff. 3.8 IDENTIFICATION: Materials supplied to this standard shall be identified with the “M“ number printed on the side as well as the top of the containers in letters at least 2“ (50 mm) high in a cont
6、rasting color to that of the container. Container marking shall be in accordance with Manufacturing Standard ZF-10 and conform to all Federal, State, and Local container contents labeling regula- tions which are in effect both in the area of shipment and use. APPROVAL OF NEW SUPPLIERS: Materials submitted by new manufacturers to this standard must have Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Engineering, Laboratory and Shop Trial approvals. Suppliers are required to complete and submit the Material Health, Safety and Environmental Data Sh
8、eet (Form 129A) prior to Shop Trial. Recommendations for the addition of new manufacturers to the Manufacturing Approved Source List (ASL) must be made in writing to the responsible Staff Office by the appropriate divisional standards activity in accordance with Manufacturing Procedure IId1. 5. ENVI
9、RONMENTAL CONTROL: Use of any material approved to this standard must comply with the guidelines as established in the environmental review of the material as they appear in the Materials and Toxicology System (MATS). 6. HEALTH AND SAFETY: Use of any material approved to this standard must comply with the guidelines given under the Toxicological (TOX) review of the material as indicated in the MATS system.
