SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITY: All material supplied to this standardmust be equivalent in all characteristics to the material upon whichapproval was originally granted, and shall be satisfactory for theintended application.3. APPROVAL OF NEW SUP
8、PLIERS:3.1 Pricing of face shields from proposed new suppliers should bedetermined to be cost competitive by Purchasing and Supply Staffprior to obtaining laboratory and shop trial approvals. After theproduct has been determined to be cost competitive, gloves submittedby new manufacturers to this st
9、andard and concluded to be costcompetitive must have laboratory and shop trial approvals.Recommendations for the addition of new manufacturers to theManufacturing Approved Source List (ASL) must be made by theappropriate division standards activity in writing to the PlantEngineering Office, Manufacturing Staff. All supporting data mustaccompany the written request.3.2 The Plant Engineering Office, Manufacturing Staff, and theEnvironmental Health and Safety Manager, Employee Relations Staff,will review requests to determine approval.
