SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a high heat and oil resistant polyacrylic rubber. 2. APPLICATION This material was originally released

3、 for seals in automatic transmission. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1 TESTING OF STANDARD SPECIMENS Note: All tests are to be car

4、ried out on slab samples (thickness 1.9 - 2.3 mm) and buttons (ASTM D 395, test specimen Type 1) manufactured from the same material and under equivalent cure conditions as for production parts. 3.1.1 Original Physical Properties 3.1.1.1 Hardness Shore A 69 - 79 (ASTM D 2240, 2 mm samples plied up)

11、FINISHED PARTS 3.2.1 Original Physical Properties 3.2.1.1 Hardness, IRHD 69 - 79 (ASTM D 1415, micro tester) Test Method: By means of a double bladed cutter specimens of 1 to 1.2 mm in thickness are to be cut out of the part. The section shall be cut in axial direction of the part. The sectional pla

12、nes shall be parallel and free from grooves. After twin coated pressure sensitive tape (Sello tape) has been fixed on a ground steel disc the specimens must be fixed with complete face contact on the tape. For each aging test 3 parts are to be cut into two equal parts in an axial direction, one half

13、 part shall be aged and on the other half part the original hardness shall be measured. The average of three hardness measurements on different specimens shall be taken on each half part and be reported. The original and the changed hardness shall be measured on one and the same part. 3.2.2 Change A

14、fter 70 h Ageing in Air at 150 +/- 2 C (ASTM D 573) 3.2.2.1 Hardness 0 to +8 Units 3.2.3 Change After 70 h Ageing in ASTM Oil No. 1 at 150 +/- 2 C (ASTM D 471) 3.2.3.1 Hardness -5 to +5 Units 3.2.3.2 Volume -5% to +5% Test Method: The weight of specimen for volume change determination shall be 0.5 g

No accumulation of filler material). Magnification: X 20 - 30 3.2.7 Density 1.30 - 1.35 g/cm3(ASTM D 297) 3.2.8 Ash Content, max 1.4% (FLTM EU-BO 006-02, test temperature) 800 +/- 25 C)
