SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a liquid hydrocarbon oil, of petroleum origin, compounded with a suitable stabiliser additive. 2. APPLICATION This specification was releas

3、ed originally for material used as an initial fill fuel for diesel engine vehicles in low temperature environments. Additives are incorporated into the fuel to impart protection to the fuel system during extended storage. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material su

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification

8、and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 5.1 TOXICITY AND ODOR Unless specific exemption is granted materials supplied to the Company shall not contain Benzene, Carbon Tetrachloride, or other ingredients deemed harmful to the operator, to the equipment or to the work being p

9、rocessed. The material shall be free from objectionable odor and shall remain so during normal periods of storage and use. 5.2 FLAMMABILITY This material represents a potential fire hazard, and Plant Security, Medical and Safety Units must be notified of its presence in the Plant to ensure that prop

10、er precautions are adopted. The location in which it is to be used and stored must be included in the notification. Areas where this material is to be stored and used shall be clearly marked by signs in accordance with Manufacturing Standard U-SN001. 5.3 ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL The supplier shall divu

11、lge to the company, the identity or nature of any ingredient or constituent of their products which is capable of causing pollution of water, air or soil, and/or which is subject to special notification or control under the laws or regulations in force at the locations in which it is to be used, or

12、disposed. In addition, the supplier shall, in appropriate cases, make available to the company details of treatment methods that will enable used or surplus material to be broken down satisfactorily for disposal through effluent plants. 5.4 IDENTIFICATION OF MATERIAL CONTAINERS The container is to be clearly and permanently marked with the identification of the product, the materials specification number, the Ford stores number and the name or designation of the manufacturer. The net weight is also to be marked on the container.
