2、enhanced hexalobular external driving feature for bolts and screws including the gauging method. The curvature of the contour of the enhanced hexalobular external driving feature is defined by the gauges specified in Tables 3 and 4. Additional information which may be used when drawing the contour i

8、rd Global Technologies, LLC Page 3 of 7 3 Gauging 3.1 Principle The enhanced hexalobular external driving feature shall enter freely into the relevant product standard Configuration GO Gauge as illustrated in Figure 3a. The enhanced hexalobular external driving feature fallaway, diameter (A) and dri

9、ve height (K) shall be gauged using the relevant product standard Final Inspection/Fallaway/Go Gauge as illustrated in Figure 4. 3.2 Configuration GO gauge The Configuration GO gauge dimensions per Figure 3 are specified in Table 3. 23、 features to inspect feature fallaway, diameter (A) and drive height (K). Fallaway is gauged by inserting the drive feature into the fallaway gauging element as illustrated in section 1A. The head drive feature must not extend beyond upper surface of fallaway gauge. The stem drive feature may protru

24、de beyond upper surface of fallaway gauge by fallaway allowance shown in Table 1. Go gauge element: the drive feature must enter the go gauge element opening to the choke or flange as illustrated in section 2A. Minimum drive feature length is verified by inserting the drive feature into the lobed ga

25、uging element from the bottom side of the gauge. The top of the drive feature must extend beyond the step as illustrated in section 3A.
