SCOPE The materials defined by this specification are the separate parts of a two component, urethane, water based heat seal adhesive. Part A is a
3、water based urethane resin. Part B is a solution of a polymeric isocyanate in solvent. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for materials used to bond vinyl and vinyl/ABS cover materials to rigid substrates (ABS or fiberboard) in vacuum forming/heat bonding applications. Materia
4、ls meeting this specification do not guarantee that the adhesive will function for all potential applications on a vehicle. The specific design condition, including high temperature performance, should be evaluated by a plant trial or laboratory simulation prior to release of the material. 3. REQUIR

9、nths During the storage at ambient temperatures between 5 and 32 C in sealed unopened containers, out of direct sunlight the material as supplied shall not liver and must be free from settling. 3.10 FUNCTIONAL APPROVAL Materials being evaluated for approval to this specification shall be subjected to a production trial. Functional trial results must be approved by the affected assembly operation and Design Engineering. Results shall be made available to Materials Engineering prior to material approval and release.
