SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a dry film lubricant, which consists of PTFE in water based polyurethane b
3、inder. The lubricant was designed for applications where EPA or OSHA regulations restrict emissions of volatile organic compounds. The material provides good wear, low coefficient of friction, solvent resistance, and resistance to chalking in U.V. exposure. After dip or spray application, the materi
4、al can be air dried or force dried with heat. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally as a spray lubricant applied onto the Ranger bucket seat back polyester fabric, which creaked against backlite glass. For other applications the material could be used over phosphated steel, stain
5、less steel, anodized aluminum, copper alloys, rubber and plastics. 3.
