SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a nylon thread manufactured as a single cord incorporating three separate plies. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released origi

3、nally for material used as a sewing thread used in seat and/or trim assemblies. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements quoted herein, the WSD-M15H51-D material must meet the requirements of the Sewing Thread Performance Specification, WSS-M8P5-C. WSD-M15H51-E underthread must meet the requi

4、rements of the WSS-M8P5-C with the exception of 3.5.2 Tensile after UV exposure and 3.6 Resistance to Fade. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 APPEA

5、RANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the Engineering Drawing. 3.3 YARN CONSTRUCTION AND DESCRIPTION (ASTM D 1244) The thread is manufactured in one single cord from three separate ends of 23.5 tex f34,

6、 multifilament, bright, high tenacity polyamide type 6.6 yarn.
