APPLICATION This specification was released originally for a coating which is generally applied to bearing materials for break-in or for corro

REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P11
4、11-A). 3.2 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION, (wt %) Tin 98 min. 3.3 COATING THICKNESS (mm) Flash Coat. Continuous coverage on significant surfaces. Unless specified otherwise on engineering drawing: Bearing Surface 0.001-0.003 Backing Surface 0.004 max. 3.4 PLATING PROCESS It is not intended to limit the procedures for plating. Any process resulting in a coating which adheres satisfactorily and meets the requirements of this specification will be approved.
