APPLICATION This material was released originally for center and side electrodes in spark plug “long life“ applications. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STA

3、NDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 CHEMICAL COMPOSITION (Weight Percent) Platinum Balance Nickel 9.7 - 10.3 Residuals* 0.15 max * Alternatively can be calc

Chemical composition will form part of the agreed control plan. 3.3 HARDNESS, HV 0.3 (Annealed Condition) 200 - 250 (ISO 6507/2, ASTM E 384) The processing route and optimum mechanical properties for fabrication, welding and service performance shall form part of the agreed con

5、trol plan. 3.4 MICROSTRUCTURE Single phase, uniform equiaxed grains, free of discontinuities, intrusions and laps. 5.
