APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used for rotating shaft oil seals in rear axles. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material sup

The hardness shall be measured between sealing lip edge and spring groove. For each aging test 3 seals are to be cut into two equal parts in an axial direction,
14、 one half part shall be aged and on the other half part the original hardness shall be measured. The average of three hardness measurements on different specimens shall be taken on each half part and be reported. The original and the changed hardness shall be measured on one and the same part. 3.10.
