SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are magnetizable and heat bondable deadener sheetings with an anti-blo

5、cking surface finish on one side. WSK-M99G140-C1 and WSK-M99G140-C3 consist of single layered, WSK-M99G140-C2 and WSK-M99G140-C4/C5/C6/C7 of double layered deadener sheetings, of which one layer is magnetizable. 2. APPLICATION Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualificat

6、ion of materials. These specifications were released originally for materials used as vibration deadeners in the passenger compartment to the inner sides of roof, door tail gate and side wall. WSK-M99G140-C1/C2 are applied in inverted, WSK-M99G140-C3/C4/C5 in vertical or horizontal position. WSK-M99

7、G140-C6/C7 are molded parts. Prior to use the material must be magnetized under actual production conditions. It is applied to baked electrocoat. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production

8、 Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). WSK-M99G140-C1 and -C2 are cured in inverted, WSK-M99G140-C3 to -C7 in vertical position. Use separate test assemblies for each curing cycle. Note: If the f

12、inished parts do not allow the preparation of plane specimens, the supplier is required to provide specimens of the same material and equivalent manufacture used for the finished parts. 13、echnologies, LLC Page 3 of 4 3.6 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 3.6.1 Fogging (FLTM BO 116-03) Fog number, min 60 Material evaluated after bonding to aluminum foil in a convection oven at 135 +/- 2 C for 30 min. 3.6.2 Odor 3.6.2.1 Original Shall be free from objectionable or irritating odors, both in the “as r

14、eceived“ condition and immediately after above maximum heat cure. 3.6.2.2 SAE J1351, max Rating 2 3.6.3 Flammability, max 100 mm/minute (ISO 3795) 3.6.4 Loss Factor, min See Table 1 (ASTM E 756) Panel size: 240 x 10 x 0.8 mm Material size: 216 x 10 mm Cure test panels with minimum curing cycle. Prio

15、r to measurement condition 90 min at 23 +/- 2 C. Calculate loss factor according to given test method. 3.6.5 Palletizing The material shall separate easily from each other without tearing. Test Method: - Cut 5 specimens of 100 x 100 mm from test material and determine weight and thickness per specim

16、en. - Ply up and cover with an aluminum plate of the same size. - Load with a dead weight equaling a plied up height of 600 mm minus the weight of 5 specimens and cover. - Expose test assembly in a convection oven maintained at 35 +/- 2 C for two weeks. Cool to 23 +/- 2 C, remove weight and cover pl

17、ate and examine as described above. 3.6.6 Magnetic Flux After Magnetization 3.6.6.1 Original, min WSK-M99G140-C1/C2 25 mT WSK-M99G140-C3/C4/C5/C6/C7 20 mT 3.6.6.2 After 72 h, max at 23 +/- 2 C -10% Distance of magnetized lines must not exceed 5 mm. No loosening, sagging, cracking or blistering after

19、curing according 3.5. The material must not be peeled off from the substrate without being destroyed 3.7.2 Adhesion after Environmental Ageing (FLTM BV 151-02, Method B, clause 4 and 5, Load “A“ at 23 +/- 2 C) No chipping, shrinkage, blistering or loss of adhesion. Age test specimens during five cyc

20、les according FLTM BQ 104-07, Proc. 4 and condition 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C before testing. 3.7.3 Cold Adhesion after Heat Aging (FLTM BV 151-02, Method B, load “A“ at -25 +/- 2 C) No chipping or loss of adhesion. Heat age 14 d at 100 +/- 2 C. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provide

21、d for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of these specifications. 5.1 STORAGE STABILITY, min 3 months (From date of receipt at Ford) When stored between 18 - 35 C.
