SCOPEThe materials defined by these specifications are deadener sheetings basedon bi tumen

3、 synthetic resins and mineral fillers with an anti-blockingsurface finish on one side.2. APPLICATIONThese specifications were released originally for materials used for heatbondin g to electrocoated floor panels in the passenger compartment duringprimer oven exposure.WSK-M99G156-A3/A4 are low densi

4、ty deadener sheetings.3. REQUIREMENTS3.1 STATISTICAL PROCESSSupplie rs must conform to the requirements of Ford Quality SystemStand ard Q-101. A mutually acceptable Control Plan as describedtherein is required for material/source approval. Appropriatestatist ical tools must be used to analyze proces

5、s/product data sothat variation in the final product is continuously reduced.3.2 INFRARED SPECTROPHOTOMETRY AND/OR THERMAL ANALYSISFord Motor Company, at its option, may conduct infrared and/ortherma l analysis of material/parts supplied to this specification.The IR spectra and thermograms establish

6、ed for i nitial approval shallconst itute the reference standard and shall be kept on file at thedesignated material laboratory. Discolorationor staining of the enamel permitted.Test Method:Prior to painting press a 80 x 280 mm section of the materialcentrally to a 100 x 300 mm electrocoated panel and proceedas indicated in the relevant primer and paint sp ecifications.Apply primer and

14、standard white enamel in a dry filmthickness of about 25-30 micrometre. Do not sand primer.3.6.6 PalletisingTh e material shall separate easily from each other withouttearing.Test Method:- Cut 5 specimens of 100 x 100 mm from test material anddetermine weight and thickness per specimen.ENGINEERING M

Cool to 23 +/- 2 C, remove weightand cover plate and examine as described above.3.6.7 Penetration 0.7 mmTest Method:After 2 h storage at 23 +/- 2 C test penetration with a 11.3mm diameter indentor foot at a loading of 4 MPa for 30 s.3.7 RESISTANCE PROPERTIES3.7.1 Fusing BehaviourAfte

17、r heat curing the material shall fit tightly to the panelwithout evidence of blisters or cracks. The mate rial must notbe peeled off from the substrate without being destroyed.Sagging through large cut outs not more than 15 mm.Test Method:- Apply the test material to test panels according toFig. 1.

18、Cure panels in a horizontal position according toclause 3.5. Distance from cut out to support min 30 mm.- Examine after cooling down to 23 +/- 2 C.3.7.2 Adhesion after Environmental Cycling(FLTM BV 151-02, Method B, Load “A“at 23 +/- 2 C)No chipping, shrinkage, blistering or loss of adhesion.Age dur

19、ing three cycles according FLTM BQ 104-07 , Proc. 4 andcondition test specimens 24 h at 23 +/- 2 C before testing.3.7.3 Cold Adhesion after Heat Aging(FLTM BV 151-02, Method B, load “A“at - 25 +/- 2 C)Heat ageing 14 d at 100 +/- 2 C.No chipping or loss of adhesion.3.8 SUPPLIERS RESPONSIBILITYAll mat

Test data, t est samples and a new code identification areto be submitted with the request.Substance restrictions imposed by law, regulations or Ford, apply tothe materials addressed by this document. The restrictions aredefined in

23、 Engineering Material Specification WS S-M99P9999-A1, unlessa different suffix (e.g., A2 or A3) is specified on the engineeringdocument for the application.4. APPROVAL OF MATERIALSMat erials defined by this specification must have prior approval by theresponsible Materials Engineeri ng activity. Sup

24、pliers desiring approval ofthe ir materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from theaffec ted Purchasing, Design and Materials Engineering activity. Uponrequest, the Supplier shall submit to the affected Materials Engineeringactivity a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, si

25、gned by aqualified and authorized representative of the test faci lity, demonstratingful l compliance with all the requirements of this specification (testresults, not nominal values), the material designation a nd code number, andtes t specimens for Ford evaluation. Fords engineering approval of am

26、ateri al will be based on its performance to this specification and on anassessment of suitability for i ntended processes and/or applications. Uponapprov al, the material will be added to the Engineering Material ApprovedSource List.5. GENERAL INFORMATIONThe information given below is provided for
