2、ONLY 1. SCOPE This specification defines man-made wood veneers, produced by a single-cut process, for use as decorative product on interior wood veneer assemblies. A = Man Made Veneer “Rosewood pattern“, made from - OBECHE- TRIPLOCHITON SCLEROXYLON. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released for
3、 materials used for wooden decorative automotive components. Application of lacquer and other products will need to be considered to provide a suitable finished product. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. When in the fully assem
4、bled form the veneer assembly must comply with the Material specification requirements as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M9
5、9P1111-A). 3.2 MATERIAL PROPERTIES 3.2.1 Appearance Color, feature and grain to be as per Master samples 3.2.2 Thickness Nominal thickness - 0.6mm 3.2.3 Moisture content 11 - 18% 3.2.4 Density 550 +/- 50 kg/m33.3 PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES Veneer selected for its attractive appearance should be uniform in thickness, smooth, flat, free from decay and have face grain suitable for the intended face grade.
