APPLICATION These specifications were released originally for materials used as sound absorbing insulators on door panels and back panels of 1996 F-Series trucks. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specifi

7、 g. Determine the weight to the nearest 0.01 g using an analytical balance (W1). Place sample in an oven with no air flow directed onto the sample for 16 h at 110 +/- 2 C. Results shall be made available to Materials Engineering prior to material approval and release. 3.13 ACOUSTICAL PERFORMAN
10、CE Acoustical performance of these materials must be evaluated and approved by the appropriate NVH Development activity before being released for use. 5. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of these specifications.
11、5.1 USE RESTRICTIONS These materials are not intended for use as thermal insulators. They are not recommended for use in areas where ambient or operating temperatures exceed 90 C for continuous periods of time exceeding 96 hours. These materials are intended for use only in areas where there will not be any load bearing or compressive conditions.
