APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a flat or molded acoustical soun

3、d absorbing fiber pad for noise control assemblies. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements F

4、or Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 CONSTRUCTION Shall consist of a random, air laid mixture of natural and synthetic fibers firmly bonded with thermoplastic binding fibers. 3.5 COMPOSITION (ASTM D 629) Natural and Synthetic Fiber 50 - 90% Thermoplastic Binding Fibers 10 - 50% 3.6 WEIGHT A

5、ND THICKNESS As specified on (ASTM C 167) engineering drawing Molded parts will have varying density depending upon required thickness. Therefore, for quality control purposes, the weight per unit area must be specified on as received thickness prior to molding. 3.7 PROPERTIES Initial approval prope
