2、 1 of 9 LEATHER, SPECIALITY, FULL GRAIN, WSS-M1F30-A ANILINE, CHROME TANNED NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a full grain, selection “A“, steer hide which has been tanned and softened to provide maximum seating comfort without sacrificing the leath
3、ers remaining physical properties. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as interior trim leather. Perforated leather must also meet requirements of para 3.6, achieved by using a sealer known as flesh coating, to bind any loose fibers and to ensure flesh side fi
4、bers will not be visible through perforation holes on the A surface. Under no circumstances shall this leather be subjected to steam heat, water or organic solvents or cleaners during manufacturing process No correcting or repair of any kind shall be allowed including but not limited to buffing, fil
5、ling or stuccoing. 2.1 LIMITATIONS Full Aniline Leather is a natural product which has not been finished and hence no color coating, thus will wear, stain, fade and transfer color in excess of traditional to coated leather and may lead to high TGWs and warranty claims. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD R
6、EQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 CHANGE CONTROL/CONTROL ITEMS Control items must be run per the matrix below for the initial approval. Test specimens must be ta

The Construction approval package must contain the Initial Approval Control Items and the rest of the specification and be submitted to Materials Engineering and North American Seat Engineering. Once the leather is constructi

These results must also be submitted to Materials Engineering and North American Seat Engineering before Ingress/Egress testing (ST-0035) is approved. Control items must be t
9、ested on every lot (production load) of material; control of these items must be represented in the PFMEA and control plan. These results must be readily available and submitted to North American Seat Engineering upon request. After the review and sign-off of the control documents (PFMEA, CP and SPC
10、 data) for a significant number of lots, the frequency of the testing can be reduced as agreed upon by the Materials Engineering and North American Seat Engineering representatives. Other testing in this specification is for initial approval or on an “as requested“ basis and is not required for annu
