2、 DESIGN 1. SCOPE This specification defines the material and performance criteria of a corrosion-protective and torque-tension enhancing coating consisting of a limited mobile, water emulsifiable sealer. The sealer can be applied over a variety of different substrates which include zinc phosphate, p
3、ainted surfaces, and stainless steel. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally as a secondary sealer over electro-deposition coatings or zinc/iron phosphate to improve corrosion protection and/or torque-tension characteristics. It is intended for use in body interior application whe
4、re a dry to the touch and plastics compatible finish is required. It can also be used to improved drive torque of thread forming screws and lubricity of threaded fasteners where torque-tension is a concern. 3.
