SCOPE These material specifications define the minimum accept
2、able performance requirements and physical/chemical properties of engine oils to be used by Ford Motor Company in its worldwide engine/vehicle manufacturing operations. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for an assembly fluid for pre-lubrication of components in spark ignition
3、 and compression ignition engines prior to assembly. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires the use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other docum
4、ents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer. 3.2 PERFORMANCE 3.2.1 Shall meet requirements of SAE 50 viscosity grade as defined in SAE Standard J300. 3.2.2 Shall meet acceptance criteria for engine sealing and liquid gasket
5、adhesion as specified in Engineering Specification ES-FT4E-6020-AA, section 3.0.1.4. 3.3 VISCOSITY 3.3.1 Kinematic Viscosity, 100 C, mm2/s (ASTM D445) 16.3 21.9 3.3.2 Kinematic Viscosity, 40 C, mm2/s (ASTM D445) Report 3.4 QUALIFICATION PROCEDURE It is the suppliers responsibility to have the techni
