2、PE The materials defined by this specification are for rubber compounds used in hydraulic power steering hoses. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released to standardize the time, temperatures, and fluid type for material property testing of rubber compounds used in high pressure, low pressure,

3、and suction lines in the hydraulic power steering system. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 FINISHED HOSE AND ASSEMBLIES This speci

4、fication must be used with an Engineering Specification which defines the requirements for functional performance. When this specification was written ES-BC34-3A719-AA was the latest ES. The following tests shall be performed with specimens cut from molded test slabs manufactured from the same mater

GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification Hose constructions may consist of the following materials. High Pressure hose: Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) tube and cover with braided nylon reinforcement. Low Pressure: Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) tube and cover with braided polyester reinforcement. Suction Hose: Chlorinated polyethylene (CPE) with or without reinforcement.
