SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a vinyl or vinyl copolymer unsupported film. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as a sunvisor cover m

3、aterial. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the vinyl film shall meet the requirements of WSS-M8P3-D1. Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part

4、 producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 DIMENSIONS (ASTM D 374, Method C) Thickness 0.41 - 0.51 mm 3.5 SPECIFIC GRAVITY, max 1.41 (ASTM D 792) 3.6 BREAKING STRENGTH, min 17.0 MPa (ISO 37, type 1 dumb-bell/ASTM D 412, Method A, Die

5、C) 3.7 HARDNESS 78 - 88 (ASTM D 2240, 15 s dwell) To be determined on ungrained stock. Grained samples can be used if the grained surface of 2 samples are placed together, then tested.
