SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a vinyl coated fabric material consisting of polyvinyl chloride coating laminated to a knit fabr

3、ic. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released for materials used for low pressure molding of Door Trim Panels. Any other applications must be approved by the responsible Materials Engineering or Design Engineering Activity. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, this mat

4、erial shall meet all requirements of the WSS-M8P3-D1/D2/D3, PERFORMANCE, FLEXIBLE POLYMERIC FILM, INTERIOR QUALITY material performance specification, and WSS-M15P4-E, INTERIOR TRIM, ASSEMBLY performance specification. 3.0 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part pr

5、oducers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.4 APPEARANCE The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved corporate FLTM BI 109-01 Design master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.4.1 Instrumental Color Re

6、adings (FLTM BI 109-03) Instrumental color readings may be required at the discretion of Materials Engineering. Visual evaluation will take precedence over instrumental reading in cases of dispute. No production batch shall deviate by more than 0.85 Delta E from the designated color master nor from

Die cut across entire width of material four test specimens 100 x 100 mm in size. The two specim

12、ens 2 samples at the distance of 25 mm from both selvages of the material roll. Place the test specimens immediately on a smooth flat supporting surface, with the face side upward and using a suitable scale, measure the max distance between the supporting surface and the upper surface of the test sp

13、ecimens. After 15 minutes time, repeat the same measurements on those points which show the greatest degree of curling upwards. 3.18 COLD FLEXIBILITY AT - 35 C 3.18.1 Cold Flexibility Material shall remain flexible (FLTM BN 102-01,after and not crack when bend 180 aging 7 d at 80 +/- 2 C) around 6.4 mm diameter mandrel 3.18.2 Low Temperature Impact (Coated Fabrics) 4J (FLTM BN 128-01) Original (as received) - 35 +/- 1 C After 7 d at 80 +/- 2 C - 30 +/- 1 C No visible cracking when tested as received and after heat aging.
