SCOPE The material defined by these specifications is a flexible polyurethane coated coverstock with a knitted or nonwoven fabric backing used in the production of wrapped IP, interior door panel or console lid. 2. APPLICATION These specifications were released o
3、riginally as a flexible skin that can be used to wrap and thread top stitch a hard plastic substrate for an IP. WSS-M2F206-A1 was originally released for S197 IP topper panel. WSS-M2F206-A2 was originally released for D385 IP binnacle. This material must also meet the requirements in WSS-M15P45-A fo
4、r instrument panel applications and WSS-M15P4-E for door or console applications and any applicable SDS, including, but not limited to the IP, IT and PAB SDS. The material must remain flexible and exhibit no cracking when bent around a 20 +/- 2 mm mandrel after the specified exposure. Note: In case of differences in the test results between Florida exposure and the accelerated weathe
18、ring the results of the Florida exposure shall prevail. One year Florida weathering is required for all seamless instrument panel applications before the technology can be implemented. Once Florida weathering performance is established then Filtered Xenon results may be used for new colors of existing technologies. 4.
