2、TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. It is then precoated and laminated to a filled, post industrial thermoplastic barrier material for improved rigidity
3、and acoustical properties. This carpet is solution dyed. 2. APPLICATION This material was released originally for carpets used for full floor application. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item carpet assembly (molded or otherwise fabricated) shall meet all requi
4、rements of the WSS-M8P16-A performance specification for full floor applications and the Sound and Heat SDS. This carpet meets the Resistance to Abrasion requirements of 2,000 cycles, per WSS-M8P16-A para. 3.13, therefore, throw-in mats must be standard equipment or a heel pad must completely cover
5、the areas most vulnerable to driver wear. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens t
