SCOPE The materials defined by these specifications are random velour, needled, nonwoven carpets of good quality and uniform composition backcoated wi
3、th a synthetic latex. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for floor carpet applications on B and C car platforms as part of the GCBP strategy. 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item floor carpet shall be tested to WSS-M8P16-B and any additio
4、nal SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded into the FMD (Ford Materials Database). 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys
5、Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.1.1 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-B1/latest. Data must be included in material submission
6、 package. 3.2 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished floor assemblies. 3.3 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample, or shall be as specified on the engineering drawing. 3.4 COMP
