SCOPE The
2、materials defined by this specification are fine denier, bulked continuous filament (BCF) nylon, two ply twist, cut pile carpets, tufted into a synthetic primary foundation. The mat may be backed with either rubber or other material. 2. APPLICATION This material was originally released for Black Lab
3、el Lincoln floor mats. 2.1 LIMITATIONS Compression molding is not allowed to marry the face to backing material or to pull any B side features. Compression molding is only allowed as a secondary process to change geometry (3D shape). 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 APPROVED SOURCES This specification requires t
4、he use of approved sources. Only the sources identified on the Ford Approved Source List (ASL) can be used when this specification is listed on the drawing, CAD file, or other documents. The list of approved sources is located within Ford at or available externally through a Ford Materials Engineer
5、. 3.2 CONDITIONING AND TEST CONDITIONS All test values are based on material conditioned for not less than 24 h prior to testing in a controlled environment of 23 +/- 2 C and 50 +/- 5% relative humidity. Testing of the material should occur in the conditioning environment or soon after removal. 3.3
6、PERFORMANCE CRITERIA 3.3.1 In addition to the requirements listed herein, the end-item mat shall be tested to WSS- M15P44-B and any additional SDS requirements. The details for each of the suppliers specific construction shall be documented in the supplement attached and uploaded into the scanned da
7、ta package. 3.3.2 Vehicle Interior Environment Quality Materials/Component Performance Requirements Materials used in interior applications must meet the requirements outlined in WSS-M99P2222-D1/ latest. Data must be included at the appropriate program milestone. 3.4 SAMPLE SELECTION All evaluations
8、 shall be conducted on test specimens taken from finished mat assemblies. 15、ate the approved material. WSS-M3H156-A1 Supplier Name and Product Code WSS-M15P44-B 4.2 APPROVAL OF MATERIALS Suppliers desiring approval of their materials shall first obtain an expression of interest from Purchasing, Design or Product Development, and Materials Engineering. The supplier shall sub
16、mit a completed copy of their laboratory test reports, signed by a qualified and authorized representative of the test facility, demonstrating full compliance with all the requirements of the Material Specification. Tested material samples must be available for review upon request and kept for a min
17、imum of one year. Upon request, the supplier will review the associated quality control documents (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Control Plans, Certification testing) with Ford. 4.3 SUPPLIERS ONGOING RESPONSIBILITY All materials must be equivalent in all characteristics to the material
18、upon which approval was originally granted. Prior to making any changes to the material originally approved, whether or not such changes affect the materials ability to meet the specification requirements, the supplier shall notify the affected Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), Purchasing, and Ma
