APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as initial fill fuel for diesel engines in passenger cars and light and heavy trucks. This material is not specifically intended for use in certification
4、 testing. It may be used for engine hot test, mileage accumulation or general fueling. 3. REQUIREMENTS This material must be produced using current refinery practices for commercial diesel fuels and in addition to the requirements of this specification, must also meet all pertinent local requirement

The Manufacturing Engineering Department or other responsible activity shall notify both the Security and Safety Units of its presence to assure that proper fire precautions are provided. The location in which it is used or stored shall be included in the notifications. 5.2 SAMPLING AND SUBMISSION OF SAMPLES (ISO 3170/3171, ASTM D 4057/D 4177) 5.3 Quality Control records must be made available to the responsible product engineering office upon request.
