SCOPE This specification defines t

、he minimum durability and performance requirements of anodized aluminum for bright or colored interior trim components. 2. APPLICATION This performance specification was released originally for anodized aluminum cargo management rails and other interior components. 2.1 LIMITATIONS Any cleaning agent

、 containing a combination of ethoxylated C12-15 fatty acid and sodium metasillicate should not be used to clean this material (example: Motorcraft Multipurpose Cleaner). Surface attack will occur leaving a chalky substance on the surface. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATE

、RIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 ANODIZED ALUMINUM PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT All materials evaluated under this performance specification must have Supplement A completed and signed by Ford Mate

、rials Engineering, the material/coatings supplier, and the Tier One supplier. The Supplement A and specification data will be stored in the Ford Materials Database (FMD). Table 2.0 describes the construction of the anodized aluminum, and must be submitted with Supplement A. (Reference Supplement A).

、 The Tier One supplier is responsible for including Table 2.0 and this performance specification on the part drawing. 3.3 FINISHED PARTS Testing must be conducted at Design Verification (DV) and Product Validation (PV) per Table 1.0 (including Supplement A), unless otherwise agreed to by Materials E

、ngineering, and on actual production parts or a section of the part whenever possible. Where part dimensions limit testing equipment access, representative test samples may be substituted. PV Testing must be conducted on actual production processed parts. No change in material, facility, or processi
