2、e 1 of 3 FABRIC, HANSON PATTERN, NON-WOVEN, WSS-M5H27-A 25% MINIMUM PCR NOT TO BE USED FOR NEW DESIGN 1 SCOPE The material defined by this specification is a HANSON PATTERN needled non-woven polyester fabric with acrylic binder. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material

3、used as a cover material for headliners. Limitations This cover material must always be bonded 100% to a substrate material to form a composite (localized or spotty adhesion is unacceptable) in order to meet headliner flammability requirement. Any other application must be approved by Materials Engi

4、neer 3. REQUIREMENTS In addition to the requirements listed herein, when the material is used in a unitized headliner assembly, or bonded to any substrate, shall also meet the requirements of WSS-M15P27-F, when tested as an assembly. Any other applications of this material would require prior approv

5、al of Materials Engineering. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved

6、Design Center master sample, or shall be specified on the engineering drawing. 3.3 COMPOSITION (ASTM D 276) Fabric 100% Polyester Binder Synthetic latex (Acrylic) 3.4 FABRIC REQUIREMENTS 3.4.1 Fiber Description and Construction 100% 3 denier polyester (ASTM D 1244) (minimum 25% post consumer fiber )
