SCOPE The material defined by this specification is made of two polyester fabrics laminated with an adhesive. 2. APPLICATION This specif
3、ication was released originally for the retractable sunshade material used to reduce the light penetrating the glass of the U38X MY08, D472 MY09, panoramic roof. 3. REQUIREMENTS Material specification requirements are to be used for initial qualification of materials. The information given below is
4、provided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. In addition to the requirements listed herein, this material shall meet all SDS requirements. When used on the intended application, the material must be capable of performing satisfactorily under all produc
5、tion and service conditions. Materials being evaluated for approval to this specification will be subjected to a production trial. Functional trial results must be approved by the affected assembly operation and Design Engineering. Results must be made available to Materials Engineering prior to mat
6、erial approval and release. 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements for Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern, and finish shall match the approved C
7、orporate Design master sample, or shall be as specified on engineering drawing 3.3 WEIGHT +/- 10% tolerance (FLTM BN 106-01) Total 270 or 330 g/m2 Note: Recommended limits outside the spec could be accepted based on application or manufacturing operation.
