2、TOMOTIVE CAVITIES 1. SCOPE The material defined by this specification is solvent free based rust preventive compounds with minimum 99% solid content and contain an UV- marker. 2. APPLICATION This specification was originally released for cavity waxes sprayed into box sections below the floor panel (
3、rocker panel, side and cross members, etc.), in the engine compartment and to lower areas of pillars, doors, hood and tailgate. They are applied to the vehicle body after the paint process, prior to final assembly. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material suppliers

Minimum storage conditions for 6 months at 32 C all waxes: 6 months at 5 C and Additionally for tropical climates: 3 months at 40 C After
8、 the storage, the material shall not show any insoluble separation or coagulation and must meet all specification requirements. 3.3 PERFORMANCE PROPERTIES Wax according to specification WSS-M7C97-A must meet all requirements of WSS-M21P35-A2. 4. GENERAL INFORMATION The information given below is pro
9、vided for clarification and assistance in meeting the requirements of this specification. 4.1 MATERIAL REFERENCE All related materials used for approval of cavity wax according to this specification, e.g. substrate, paint materials, solvents, etc. as well as the application parameter (viscosity, film thickness, drying conditions) shall be noted in the Initial Sample Report of the wax.
