2、AD WSS-M8P22-A 1. SCOPE This specification defines the performance requirements for thread. 2. APPLICATION This specification was released originally for material used as serging and embroidery thread for floor mats. 3. REQUIREMENTS 3.1 STANDARD REQUIREMENTS FOR PRODUCTION MATERIALS Material supplie

3、rs and part producers must conform to the Companys Standard Requirements For Production Materials (WSS-M99P1111-A). See table 1 for testing requirements and specimen size. 3.2 APPEARANCE (FLTM BI 109-01) The color, pattern and finish shall match the approved Design Center master sample or shall be a

4、s specified on the engineering drawing. 3.3 PHYSICAL PROPERTIES 3.3.1 Straight Tensile Strength, Original (N), Report* (ASTM D204-02) 3.3.1.1 Straight Tensile Strength after Heat Aging 70% of original min. (Heat age 7 days at 80 +/- 2C) 3.3.1.2 Straight Tensile Strength after Fade 70% of original mi

(FLTM BO 116-01, 225.6 kJ/m2) 3.3.2 Straight Elongation, Original (%), Report* (ASTM D204-02) 3.3.3 Heat Aging Rating 4 min (7 days at 80 +/- 2C ISO 105-02 /AATCC Evaluation Procedure 1) No fiber deterioration or color tone change in excess of the above rating. * Report values will be documented

8、es only) Rating 3 min (FLTM BN 112-08, ISO 105-A03/ AATCC Evaluation Procedure 2) 3.5 SEWING TEST After the thread has been tested per the requirements stated above, it shall be assessed by a sewing test conducted under normal production conditions with each supplier. The thread must process under p

9、roduction conditions without any reservations. Suppliers deliveries can be rejected because of excessive rates of breakage and/or other manufacturing difficulties (knots, foreign matter, stretch etc.). In addition, after sewing, the thread shall not exhibit objectionable streaks or any color change

10、in hue or purity of color. 3.6 NUMBER OF KNOTS The thread spool shall be free of all imperfections of such character which would cause the thread to break during sewing. 3.7 IDENTIFICATION Each spool of thread must bear the name of the manufacturer, color suffix, and yarn size. 3.8 PACKING The mater

11、ial must be packed in such a way that in transit no slippage of the layers or any other damage occurs. 4.
