Scope This test method shall be used tci determine the flexibility of sound deadener pads and similar materials used in body trim applications. ? -. Definition Flexibility as determined by this test method is def
7、ined as the bending that occurs when a standard test piece of a material is allowed to freely bend under its awn weight for 10 minutes. 3. Test Pieces and Number of Test Pieces 3.1 From the available material, test pieces (250 z 0,5) mm x (50 2 0,5) mm x thickness of the deadener pad shall be taken
8、from various areas of the material. Where possible test pieces shall be taken no closer than 100 mm to any edge and in two directions perpendicular to one another. 5.2 For initial sample approval and arbitration purposes, a minimum of 3 test pieces from each direction and far routine quality control
9、 a minimum of l test piece from each direction shall be tested. c. Conditioninq For initial sample approval, arbitration purposes and for routine quality control , oanditioning shall be carried out to GME 60 300 - El 2. j.
