3、y GMW15768. 1. PURPOSE This standard shall be used to determine the friction moment of ball joints which is generated by ball rotation. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to ball joints used for LEMANS, ROYALE, 1t TRUCK and COACH. 3. TEST APPARATUS 3.1. Rotary driving device A rotary driving device whic
4、h is capable of changing the number of revolution (20 RPM max.) with the test piece mounted under the test condition specified on the drawing. 3.2. Torque transducer 3.3. Amplifier 3.4. X-Y Recorder 4. PREPARATION OF TEST PIECES 4.1. Number of test piece At least 5 test pieces shall be used. 4.2. Co
5、ndition of test piece The test piece shall be tested the one having passed at least 24 hours after the fabrication. The test piece shall be left min. 8 hours in the unstressed condition by +235K before testing. 5. PROCEDURE 5.1. Perform the test at a temperature of 235K. 5.2. Mount the test piece un
6、der the test condition specified on the drawing. Here, confirm the matching of center axle and distance between the test piece and the jig (Refer to Appendix 1). 5.3. Drive the rotary driving device under the test condition specified on the drawing to rotate the test piece and record a torque-time v
7、ariation curve (Refer to Fig 1). EVALUATION AFTER TESTING 6.1. The torque-time variation curve is shown in Fig 1. Fig 1
