T255 Program). It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW14898. 1

3、 PURPOSE This test specification defines the test conditions, courses and requirements for the static test of bending behavior of piston rods of compression leg. 2. NOTE Samples of materials released to this specification shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this specification an

4、d approved by GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER prior to commencement of delivery of bulk supplies. In the event of any intentional deviations from the requirements of this specification, it is the sole responsibility of the supplier to inform the purchaser of all such deviations. Furthermore the supplier shal

5、l submit unsolicited samples for reapproval by GMDAT TECHNICAL CENTER prior to commencement of delivery of deviant bulk supplies. 3. TEST SAMPLES AND TEST QUANTITY For the testing, the assy. piston rods of compression leg is used as test sample. If not differently specified, min. 3 test samples are

6、to be tested for initial sample approval and arbitration purpose and routine quality control, and in arbirany cares, min. 1 test sample is for current quality control. 4. PRIMARY TREATMENT OF SAMPLE The test is performed at +15 to +35 without primary treatment of sample. 5. TESTING INSTRUMENT AND AU

7、XILIANY MEANS 5.1. Material - testing machine A material - testing machine which must be : so equipped that the test samples could be loaded with a steady speed of stressing of 5 mm/min max. The maximal test forces of the machine are guided by the requirements for the test. Suitable is a testing mac

8、hine according to DIN 51 220, DIN 51 221 Part 1 to 3 and DIN 51 223. The testing machine must besides satisfy following requirements :Accuracy of measurement of power : 1 % of measured value. Accuracy of deformation in extension : 0.01 mm. 5.2. A coordinate recorder (X-Y-recorder) which plots the ch

9、aracteristic of force - way modification of the sample. 5.3. Suitable fixtures for the incorporation of the piston rods of compression leg. 10、EWOO Auto & Technology 6. PERFORMANCE 6.1. Test Arrangement : 6.2. The piston rod is stressed to the force F with a steady speed of 5 mm/min max. 6.3. After then released to F/2. A permanent bending of f is permissible. 6.4. Subsequently is stressed to the force F1which effects a permanent bending f

The permanent bending f in mm at F/2 is ascertained from the curve of force - way

12、 modification. 7.2. The piston rod is examined on cracks. 8. REQUIREMENTS 8.1. The permanent bending f may come to 0.4 mm max. 8.2. Permanent bending f1: see component drawing. At this permanent bending f1, any cracks or breaks visible to the naked eye may not appear. (microcracks in the chrome laye

13、r are permissible) 9. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS 9.1. Admitted suppliers see EDS. 9.2. Other additional specifications, see component drawing. 10. SPECIFICATIONS IN DRAWINGS etc. In drawings, specifications and the like, this specification is informed as follows : “Bending Test for Piston Rod to EDS-T-2515“ 11. DEVIATIONS Deviations from the conditions of this specification or additional requirements are prescribed on the corresponding drawings and must be informed in test certificates, reports and the like.
