9、stall the reflecting plate on the wire 50 mm above the steering wheel that can be detected by the laser counter. 5.4 Install the laser counter appropriately apart from the reflecting plate (within the distance detectable by the laser counter that does not affect the hinder free movement of the steer
10、ing wheel). 5.5 Let the steering wheel move freely by rotating it 90. 5.6 Leave it unhindered for 300 seconds after starting free movement. When the rotational movement of the steering wheel becomes stabilized, measure the no of rotations of the steering wheel for 900 seconds. 5.7 If the steering wh
11、eel comes to a stop within 900 seconds by its weight, measure its no of rotation for the maximum measurable period and then record the measuring time and no of rotation. 5.8 Conversion Formula of Moment of Inertia. Where, I: Moment of Inertia. A: Upper mounting length divided by 2 (m). B: Radius of
12、steering wheel rim (m). W: Weight of steering wheel (Kgf). H: Length of wire (m).
