To determine the fatigue life of the product population by specifying laboratory fatigue test procedures for the engine and transmiss
4、ion mounts. 1.2 Applicability. Double acting hydraulic actuator capable of applying load in the range +/- 10.0 kN and with a stroke not less than 50.0 mm. 3.1.2 10.0 kN Tension/Compression L
6、oad Cell. 3.1.3 Displacement Transducer. 3.1.4 Single Channel PIDF Servocontroller with AC and DC Signal Conditioning. 3.1.5 Fixturing suitable to locate the component and test equipment such that loading is in the direction specified on component drawing. 3.2 Parts Applicable. 96308278 BRKT -ENG. Ensure that the load cell and LVDT and correctly calibrated. The test is run in load control and the displacement amplitude is monitor
9、ed to ensure that the test component can sustain the load applied. Regular inspections of the components must be conducted throughout the running of the test. In the event that any condition which meets the failure criteria specified in section 5 is noted, the test is stopped and the component deeme
10、d to have failed. 4.2 Test Cycles. In X - direction Force Fx = +/- 4.0 kN Cycles Nx = 500,000. In Y - direction Force Fz = +/- 1.5 kN Cycles Ny = 150,000. In Z - direction Force Fz = +/- 3.0 kN Cycles Nz = 100,000. Excitation Frequency = 20.0 +/- 5.0 Hz sine wave. Where the X-direction is defined as
11、 the horizontal axis front to rear. The y-direction is defined as the horizontal axis left to right and the z-direction is the vertical axis relative to the installed position of the component on the vehicle. 5 Performance 5.1 Each specimen in the sample is required to complete the number of cycles
12、specified above without failure. 5.2 Failure is deemed to have occurred if a fatigue crack is seen in any location or if the component can no longer sustain the test load. 5.3 Normal sample size is 6. 6 Notes 6.1 Glossary.
