This standard aims at evaluating the performance and durability of the outside handle assembly and specifying the test procedure & specification. 1.2 Scope. This standard applies to the outsi

5、. 3.1.1 Calibration. The test facilities and equipment shall be in good working order and shall have a valid calibration label. 3.1.2 Alternatives. Alternative test facilities and equipment may also be used. However, all measuring variables as specified in this standard shall be determined correctly

8、Rights Reserved February 2012 Page 2 of 6 Version : 4 3.2 Conditions. 3.2.1 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 3.3 Safety. This standard may invol

9、ve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limit

10、ations prior to use. 3.4 Documentation. Samples of components or material released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible GM Department prior to the start of delivery of production level components or materials. Any chan

11、ge to the component or material, e.g., design, function, properties, manufacturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, with documentation of any change or modification to the

12、 product/process, and to apply for a new release. If not otherwise agreed to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified or changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible GM departm

13、ent and the supplier. 4 Requirements and Procedure 4.1 Sample Preparation. 4.1.1 Samples must be greased according to requirements in drawings. 4.1.2 The fastening torque of the sample must meet the requirements in drawings. 4.2 High Temperature Exposure. The sample must meet all the following test

14、requirements including 4.3 operation checks in the chamber. 4.2.1 Natural color: exposure to 80 E for 1/2 hour and cooling to room temperature. 4.2.2 Body color: exposure to 110 E for 1/2 hour and cooling to room temperature. 4.3 Operation Check. All moving parts must operate freely without binding,

15、 when operated through their full travel and returned slowly to their normal position. 24、effort (full-operation) make sure that it must not exceed 125 % of the initial value. 4.6.2 After cooling it at (-30) E for 1 hour, soak it in 5 E cold water for 30 seconds, take it out, drain it for 30 seconds and cool it again at (-30 E ) for 3 hours. 4.6.1 G4G d !72P (-30) E) 348 % 6| 8T:4A G , !

Make sure that it must not exceed 125 % of the initial value. 4.6.4 Repeating step 4.6.2 and 4.6.3, 4 times completes 1 cycle. Following specification must be met after freeze test. y After completion of 1 cycle, there shall me

27、et more than 7 EA out of 10 EA. y After completion of 5 cycles, there shall meet more than 2 EA out of 10 EA. 4.7 Life Cycle Test. Mount the sample on the test rig in vehicle condition and test it for the following conditions (see Photo 4). 4.7.1 Apply 44 N to the actuating rod and continue operatin
