SCOPE Foldable rear cushions 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new assembled rear cushions 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. A jig for fit
4、ting the rear cushion in actual field conditions, or those of BIW 4.2. Leveling surface table 4.3. Measuring instruments for loads and length The measuring instruments shall be capable of measuring the load and the length displacement with maximum resolution of 0.1 kgf and 0.1 mm respectively. 4.4.
5、Weight loading equipment An equipment capable of loading the weight greater than 10 kgf 4.5. Recorder A recorder capable of recording the loads and the displacement in load vs. displacement graphs 4.6. Weight loading jig Round plate with diameter of 40 mm 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. P
6、reparation 5.1.1. Fit the cushion-fixing jig or the BIW on the leveling surface table, and then mount a cushion on the jig. 5.1.2. Fold the cushion. 5.2. Test Method 5.2.1. Fold the cushion and load a weight of 10 kgf in LH/RH and right/left directions respectively on the position EDS-T-4521THE TEST

Fold the cushion and load a weight of 10 kgf in the front direction as sh
8、own in fig. 2 to measure the transformation. 5.2.3. Measure the transformation at the position shown in fig. 1. 5.2.4. If there is no cushion stopper, skip the forward direction test. 5.3.
