3、 GMW14493. 1. PURPOSE This procedure verifies durability of the recliner against fatigue generated from adjustment of the seat back position by passengers. 2. SCOPE Seats with recliner function 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new seat frames 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. BIW (Body in White) or jig fo
4、r fitting seats in vehicle conditions 4.2. Durability tester 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Preparation 5.1.1. Fit the BIW or the seat-fixing jig on the durability tester, and then mount a seat on the BIW or the jig. 5.1.2. Set the seat operation devices to the positions specified in the
5、 design standard. 5.2. Test method of locking durability of the lever type 5.2.1. Pull the recliner lever to move the seat back to the forefront position. 5.2.2. Push the seat back in speed of 200 250/sec to set it to the initial locking position. 5.2.3. Repeat the test for 3000 cycles. Each cycle c
6、onsists of the procedures in item 5.2.1 and 5.2.2. 5.3. Test method of operation durability of the lever type recliner 5.3.1. Perform the test by making use of the samples defined in item 5.2. 5.3.2. Move the seat back from the forefront position to the rearmost position to lock it, and then return
7、the seat back to the position specified in the design standard to lock it. 5.3.3. Perform the test for 3000 cycles. Each cycle consists of the procedure in item 5.3.2. 8、: 3 GM DAEWOO Auto & Technology 5.4. Test method of operation durability of the dial type recliner 5.4.1. Reciprocate the recliner with the torso angle between 20 and 35 for 6000 cycles. Load the weight of 10 kg on the upper frame of the seat back to test the power recliner. 5.4.2. After the test de
9、fined in item 5.4.1 (item 5.4.2 for the power recliner), operate in the full stroke from the forefront position to the rearmost position. While maintaining the weight on the forefront position and the rearmost position for two seconds or longer respective, perform the test for 300 cycles. 5.4.3. Per
10、form additional test (See item 5.4.4) for the seats with quick attachment devices with the samples after the tests defined in items 5.4.1 and 5.4.2. 5.4.4. Set the seat back to the rearmost position, release the locking device, and then move the seat back to the forefront position. 5.4.5. Perform th
11、e test for 2000 cycles. Each cycle consists of the procedures defined in item 5.4.4. 5.5. Measurement of operating force 5.5.1. Pull the lever type recliner upright the knob at a point 30 mm from the front edge of the recliner knob as shown in fig. 1 to measure the operating force. 5.5.2. Turn the d
12、ial type recliner for full rotation to measure the maximum operating moment. Figure 1 5.6. Evaluation 5.6.1. Evaluate the rear seat after performing 50% of the test methods above. 5.6.2. The recliner shall be free of abnormal operation. 5.6.3. The recliner shall be free of crack and damage. 5.6.4. The operation force of the recliner before/after the durability test shall satisfy regulations of the drawings.
