、. PURPOSE This procedure verifies durability of the slider locking devices against fatigue generated from rapid acceleration or braking. 2. SCOPE All types of seats with slider function 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new seat frames 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. Jig for fitting BIW (Body in White) o
、r seats in vehicle conditions 4.2. Durability tester 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Test Method 5.1.1. Fit the BIW or the seat-fixing jig on the durability tester, and then mount a seat on the jig. 5.1.2. Set the slider to the neutral position, and other adjuster systems to the positions
、 specified in the design standard. 5.1.3. Load the weight of 60% x (seat assembly weight + 100 kg) on the front and the rear of the cushion frame in horizontal direction on the center of the frame as shown in fig. 1. 5.1.4. Repeat the test on the front seat for 30000 cycles and on the rear seat for
、15000 cycles in loading speed between 20 and 30cpm. Each cycle consists of weight loading on the front and the rear. 5.1.5. If strength of the cushion frame is insufficient, the frame may be reinforced to the extent with no affects on the guide rail. 5.2. Evaluation 5.2.1. The play clearance of the
、slider locking devices before and after the test shall satisfy the regulations in the drawings. 5.2.2. Any abnormal noise shall not occur during the test.
