3、 verifies durability of the slider stopper against fatigue generated from operation of the slider to the forefront position and the rearmost position. 2. SCOPE All types of seats with guide rail function 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new seat frames 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. Jig for fitting BIW
4、 (Body in White) or seats in vehicle conditions 4.2. Weight (100 kg) 4.3. Durability tester 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Test Method 5.1.1. Fit the BIW or the seat-fixing jig on the durability tester, and then mount a seat on the jig. 5.1.2. Load the weight of 100 kg on the seat cushio
5、n. 5.1.3. If strength of the cushion frame is insufficient, the frame may be reinforced to the extent with no affects on the slider to fix the weight. 5.1.4. Release and fix the locking device. 5.1.5. Reciprocate the locking device between the forefront and the rearmost position in speed of 30cpm pa
6、rallel with the slider on the center of the cushion frame until the guide rail touches the stopper as shown in fig. 1. 5.1.6. Repeat the test for 10000 cycles. Each cycle consists of reciprocation of the locking device between the forefront and the rearmost position. 5.2. Evaluation 5.2.1. The stopper shall be free of defect.
