3、1. 1. PURPOSE This procedure verifies durability of the walk-in device against the operation fatigue. 2. SCOPE Seats with walk-in function 3. TEST SAMPLES Minimum three new seat frames 4. TEST EQUIPMENT AND JIG 4.1. Jig for fitting BIW (Body in White) or seats in vehicle conditions 4.2. Durability t
4、ester 5. METHODS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF TEST 5.1. Test Method 5.1.1. Fit the BIW or the seat-fixing jig on the durability tester, and then mount a seat on the jig. 5.1.2. Set the slider to the rearmost position, and other adjuster systems to the positions specified in the design standard. 5.1.3. Pres
5、s the walk-in pedal to move the seat to the forefront position as shown in fig. 1. 5.1.4. Return the seat to the rearmost position, and then move the seat back to the position specified in the design standard. 5.1.5. Repeat the test for 15000 cycles. Each cycle consists of the procedures defined in
6、items 5.1.3 and 5.1.4. 5.2. Evaluation 5.2.1. No abnormal noise shall occur during the test up to 5000 cycles. 5.2.2. The slider roller and the slider shall be free of defect. 5.2.3. The walk-in device shall be free of abnormal operation after the test. 5.2.4. The operating force before and after the durability test shall satisfy the regulations in the drawings.
