This standard aims at helping conduct correct test and get the correct result by standardizing the test method of starters for vehicles. 1.2 Applicability. This standard applies to a test of start motor (hereinafter called “starter“) to be mo

However, all measuring variables as specified in this standard shall be determined correctly with respect to their physical definition.

9、3.2 Conditions. 3.2.1 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 3.3 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. Thi

10、s standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use. 3.4 Documentation. Samples of com

11、ponents or material released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by the responsible GM Department prior to the start of delivery of production level components or materials. Any change to the component or material, e.g., design, functio

12、n, properties, manufacturing process and/or location of manufacture requires a new release of the product. It is the sole responsibility of the supplier to provide the customer, unsolicited, with documentation of any change or modification to the product/process, and to apply for a new release. If n

13、ot otherwise agreed to, the entire verification test shall be repeated and documented by the supplier prior to start of delivery of the modified or changed product. In some cases, a shorter test can be agreed to between the responsible GM department and the supplier. 4 Requirements and Procedure 4.1

14、 Measurement Range. 4.1.1 Test Voltage. 6 to 16 volt V. 4.1.2 Test Current. 1,200 ampere A. 4.1.3 Test Torque. 100 Nm. 4.1.4 Test Place. Unless specified otherwise, it shall be 20 E , Grade 15 (20 E 15%) and standard humidity 65%, Grade 20 (65%20%) of KS A0006 (Standard condition of test place). 4.1

21、DS-T-7143, Grade 4. 4.3.7 Temperature Storage Test. 4.3.7.1 Following storage of the sample at (-40)3) E for 3 hours and at (1253) E , requirements of clause 4.3.8 Performance test and 4.3.9 Voltage drop test shall be met. 4.3.8 Performance Test (Refer to Appendix 1). 4.3.8.1 Room Temperature Test (

22、235) E ). 4.3.8.1.1 Supply power using the battery or equivalent device to suit the battery voltage characteristics in drawings under the stabilized temperature of (235) E . 4.3.8.1.2 Measure the current value within 4 seconds that has variant depending on the motor speed, torque, and terminal volta

Conduct test under the stabilized temperature of (-20)3) E under the same condition and method as described in clause 4.3.8.1. 4.3.8.3 High Temperature Test (1002.5) E ). 24、ion and method as described in clause 4.3.8.1. 4.3.9 Voltage Drop Test (Refer to Appendix 2). 4.3.9.1 Measure voltage drop at the solenoid battery terminal and motor (+) terminal. 4.3.9.2 Voltage drop shall not exceed 150 mV when 150 A is applied. Following durability test, conduct the test in the s

25、ame condition as in initial test. In this case, up to 200 mV is allowed. 4.3.9.3 For the starter including No.16 terminal, voltage drop shall be measured between the solenoid terminal and No.16 terminal. The value shall not exceed 150 mV. 4.3.10 Stopping Test. 4.3.10.1 When cutting the power supply

26、after operating the starter normally, measure the time until the starter stops at zero. 4.3.10.2 Test Voltage. Direct current (120.1) V. 4.3.10.3 Regulated test value is 3 seconds max. in initial test and 4 seconds max. after durability test. 4.3.11 Solenoid Pull-In Voltage Test. 4.3.11.1 Conduct te
