T255 Program). It is Superceded for all future projects and replaced by GMW14599. 1. PURPOSE This standar

3、d aims at specifying the function and durability test conditions of the cap A. horn installed in the vehicle. Other switches are excluded from here. 2. SCOPE This standard applies to the cap A. horn used for vehicles manufactured by. 3. NUMBER OF TEST SAMPLES At least 10 test samples shall be used f

4、or engineering approval according to this standard. Test shall be performed according to the allocation of test samples listed in clause 6. 4. TEST EQUIPMENT 4.1. Test equipment to test functions of each switch and measure the operating angle or feed motion (maximum allowable deviation 0.5%) 4.2. Ad

5、justable DC power source, capability 50 A Max 4.3. Ammeter of the same range with current loads of individual switch 4.4. Voltmeter for the measuring range of 0-150 mV, 0-750 mV and 3V - 15V (maximum allowable deviation 0.5%), internal resistance 1K Ohm/V 4.5. Linear operation dynamometer for the me

6、asuring range of 10N, 25N, 50N and 100N (maximum allowable deviation 2% ) 4.6. Temperature cabinet with circulating air, with test volume of 15,30 lit. and temperature range from -403k to +902.5k 4.7. TEST PROCEDURES 5.1. Visual inspection and dimensional check 5.

8、1.1. The test sample shall not show any signs of damage or defects, such as joints and cracks, which affect the function or appearance. 5.1.2. The test sample shall meet diameter and tolerances specified on the relevant drawings and release. 5.2. Function test 5.2.1. Operating force test After expos

9、ure to the specified temperature ( -30, -20, -10, 0, normal temperature and +90 ) for 1 hour, measure the operating force specified in drawings at minimum 5 points. During the force shall not be applied excessively and abruptly but gradually to meet requirements. 5.2.2. Voltage drop test Apply the t

10、est voltage to check if the specified load current flows and then measure voltage drop between the input terminal and output terminal of the test sample, which shall meet requirements in drawings. 5.3. Voltage resistance test Apply DC4V0.5V, 1A for 14hours to the test sample. After this test, the te

11、st sample shall not show any signs of abnormality in appearance. 5.4. Overload test The voltage applied is the test voltage specified in drawings. Apply 150% (5.5A) of the load current and perform opening/closing 50 cycles. Opening/closing speed is 15 times per minute. After this test, the test samp

12、le shall not show any signs of abnormality in appearance. 5.5. Temperature resistance test After exposure to the following temperature conditions and subsequent elapse of 24h, conditions in clauses 5.2.1-5.2.2 shall be met. -40 3K for 24hours +80 2.5K for 24hours +90 2.5K for 24hours 5.6. Humidity r

13、esistance test The test sample shall withstand ambient temperature of +40 2.5K and relative humidity of 953% for 48hours. After mounting the test sample to the durability test equipment at normal temperature and normal humidity, apply a load of 40 9N perpendicular to the STRG. wheel horn ca

15、p surface through a bar with tip radius of 19.0 1.0mm to perform test under the following conditions:. - Test conditions - Test cycle. : 15 cycles/min ( 1sec : ON , 3sec : OFF ) Test voltage : 14.0V Test load : 4A Total cycle. :50,000cycles After this test, the test sample shall not show any signs o

16、f abnormality in appearance and meet conditions in clauses 5.2.1-5.2.2vibration test 5.8. Vibration test After mounting the test sample to the fitting position, apply sinusoidal vibration with frequency vibration of 1 octave/min, frequency of 10 HZ 50 HZ, amplitude of 0.5mm(10 HZ corresponds to 0.2g

17、 and 50HZ to 5g) in 3 directions. The test sample shall not operate naturally. Vibrating time for each direction is 15minutes. 6. EVALUATION All test samples shall meet requirements of individual test and shall not show any signs of malfunction that causes troubles or reduces its commercial value du

18、ring and after the. In case the test sample develops troubles at the initial stage of durability test, re-test shall be performed with test samples.
