This standard aims at specifying test procedures and requirements for products used for filling gap in the vehicle body, such as in windshield and back glass molding tha

9、quipment and Reagents. 3.1.3.1 Accelerated weather resistance test equipment (W-O-M) according to EDS-T-7422. 3.1.3.2 Dry oven capable of maintaining specific temperature within specific deviation. 3.1.3.3 Wet chamber capable of maintaining specific temperature and humidity within specific deviation

10、 3.1.3.4 Test apparatus and reagent specified in EDS-T-7622. 3.1.3.5 Test apparatus and reagent specified in EDS-T-7623. 3.1.3.6 Test apparatus and reagent specified in EDS-T-7618. 3.1.4 Test Piece. 3.1.4.1 Either a finished products or its part may be used for test samples. Minimum 3 are required f

11、or approval test, and 1 or more for quality check and receiving inspection. 3.1.4.2 Samples released to this standard shall be tested for conformity with the requirements of this standard and approved by GM Korea technical center. 3.1.4.3 The initially approved structure or manufacturing method shal

12、l not be modified without approval of GM Korea technical center. In case of change, it shall be re-approved by GM Korea. 3.1.4.4 Deviations from this standard shall be agreed upon between the parties, and be specified on the related drawings and standards, test records and report. 3.2 Conditions. 3.

13、2.1 Test Conditions. Deviations from the requirements of this standard shall have been agreed upon. Such requirements shall be specified on component drawings, test certificates, reports, etc. 3.2.2 Pre-Treatment. Test samples shall be taken from products at least 72 hours from manufacturing and be

14、properly pre-conditioned. 3.3 Safety. This standard may involve hazardous materials, operations, and equipment. This standard does not propose to address all the safety problems associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health

22、ing Resistance. 4.1.4.1 Test Method. Conduct test to EDS-T-7622. 4.1.4.2 Requirements. No harmful surface change in portions contacting sulfur dioxide. 4.1.5 Sulfide Staining Resistance. 4.1.5.1 Test Method. Conduct test to EDS-T-7623. 4.1.5.2 Requirements. No harmful surface change in portions cont

23、acting sulfide. 4.1.6 Compatibility. 4.1.6.1 Test Method. Conduct test to EDS-T-7006-BIXY. 4.1.6.2 Requirements. No contact or transfer stain after test. 4.1.7 Chemical Resistance. 4.1.7.1 Test Method. 4.1.7.1.1 Detergent Resistance. Conduct test to EDS-T-7618. 4.1.7.1.2 Wax Resistance. After wettin

24、g cloth with wax, rub test sample with cloth and leave the sample for 1 hour. After cleaning wax, evaluate sample. 4.1.7.2 Requirements. No harmful surface change, such color and gloss change, contraction, wrinkle, swelling, warping and cracks. 4.1.8 Humidity Resistance of Bonded Connection Parts. 4

25、1.8.1 Test Method. Wind 50 ) 100 mm long test piece around U-type mandrel of 50 mm diameter. After setting it so that bonded part will be at center in bending, expose it to +40 E 2K and relative humidity of (932) % for 168(+0/-2) hours. 4.1.8.2 Requirements. No cracks in samples or separation of bo
